Het werd stilaan tijd voor een nieuwe rangschikking van Belgische blogs (BB's). Deze keer heb ik de ranks van de Belgische blogs volgens Technorati nagegaan.

Technorati beweert over zichzelf Technorati is the authority on what's going on in the world of weblogs en Technorati displays what's important in the blogosphere — which bloggers are commanding attention, what ideas are rising in prominence, and the speed at which these conversations are taking place. Technorati makes it possible for you to find out what people on the Internet are saying about you, your company, your products, your competitors, your politics, or other areas of interest — all in real-time. All this activity is monitored and indexed within minutes of posting. Technorati provides a live view of the global conversation of the web. (bron).

De basis voor dit beperkte onderzoek zijn de 575 Belgische blogs met een waardering van minstens $ 2500 (ofwel via de Blog Value Estimator of volgens Blogshares).

Van deze 575 blogs zijn er 111 die een rank van Technorati gekregen hebben. Daarvoor moet de eigenaar van de blog (of de persoon die de blog claimt) zich registreren op de Technorati-website. De rank van Technorati van een blog is gebaseerd op het aantal sites dat een link heeft naar de blog (bron).

Een blog waarnaar geen enkele link ligt krijgt op dit ogenblik rank 1.107.878, wat doet veronderstellen dat dit ook het aantal geregistreerde blogs bij Technorati is.

Van de Belgische blogs die nog niet geregistreerd zijn op Technorati zijn er ook verschillende met een respectabel aantal links. Het lijstje hieronder geeft de blogs waarnaar volgens Technorati minstens 50 sites linken. Indien de eigenaars van deze blogs hun blogs ook zouden registeren, zouden ze ook relatief hoog in ranks terecht komen.

Anoniem had op 06 februari, 2006 21:33, de volgende bedenking ...: The Brussels Journal is door mij in juli vorig jaar geclaimd bij Technorati. In mijn accountscherm zie ik momenteel een Technorati-rank van 708 (2989 links from 887 sites). Waarom dit niet zichtbaar is voor iedereen is mij niet duidelijk. Op een andere plaats zegt Technorati dan weer dat er maar 1060 links naar toe liggen.
astronautje had op 13 juni, 2006 21:45, de volgende bedenking ...: ik denk dat dit een van de handigste posts was die ik in lange tijd heb gelezen, maar ik mis een ding in heel je bog...

Buttons. knopjes om simpel toe te voegen aan RSS readers.
je kan op mijn blog vinden, en als u wil mail ik u de website eens, of u snolt wat in de Source van de webstek,
het was iets met SEO company ofzo, maar die knpojes zijn hamnidg, want ik maak er meer en meer gebruik van en deze blog in RSS lezen zou handig zijn gezien u niet echt het "i Love images" type bent (wat goed is!)

Met onze verschillende rankings (Technorati ca. 12k, Alexa ca. 65k, Blogshares 25k, etc etc :) ) denk ik dat we wel mee mogen spelen....
